“Annoying to book online. I cpuldn't book for the day I was leaving because you had to book at least 2 hours in advance. I just booked for the days I had. We tried to explain to security that we just needed to pay for the first day and they let us out without paying it. I guess security gave up.
All payments are card payments even if you're dropping someone off. A friend got stuck because of that as the security staff told him he needed to pay by card. He couldn't get hold of me so he was told to get someone else in the car park to pay by card. What? Apparently it was on the airport's social media that this was a thing but unless you work for the airport, why would you follow it on its socials?
Besides that, the car was fine so it's safe to leave it in the car park.
The policies are ridiculous and the security staff don't know how to enforce it.”
“The arrival process is easy and no issues, however the departure process was not good this time. Received my vehicle key no problem but trying to exit the car park the barrier wouldn't recognise the vehicle registration, had to press the button for a ticket and the got charged £7 to leave the next barrier. At 0200 in the morning this was too much hassle that you can do without!”
“I was about to leave but I've noticed i have to pay £235 before leaving and I've asked them been booked for this period and they have noticed mistake on registration reading error 😐,

“We retuned in the rain… of course that can’t be helped. However the pathways up the carpark have been so poorly laid that the rain pools on the path… so if there are cars parked to either side you are forced to wade through puddles with your luggage.”
“I'm a disabled and booked the car in as such heading out was the normal disabled spaces on my return the car was parked quite a distance away when my wife questioned the attended he said we only have 12 disabled spaces, now that is not my problem I have paid the amount fast park required and we never received the service to which we paid for i was in pain due to being bone to bone in both knees this is the 2nd time this has happened in the last 4 months not happy and I don't think I will use fast park again”
“Good service and friendly staff . Unfortunately our Jet 2 flight was delayed 1.5 hrs and we were given a ticket at barrier and incurred £7 charge - don’t think this is fair as details of our flight were declared on booking .”
“The exit process for the pre-paid Multi story parking is flawed. I had used the pre-paid function (Order ID ACUJ1UYLI) and yet when I inserted the ticket at the barrier to exit the screen stated that I owed £290. When pressing the button for assistance there was no response. After 5 mins of patiently waiting I reversed and moved to another barrier. Eventually there was a response on the assistance call and the issue was rectified after a few minutes by the operator. I had read on-line reviews on the website that this type of problem arises frequently and therefore there is a systematic problem with the payment and registration number recognition system. Very frustration when the user is paying for convenience of quick entry and exit. On the positive the car park is clean and safe.”
“Unfortunately wasn’t as good a service this time. As a disabled driver I chose the fast park as the disabled bays are next to the terminal. No free spaces on arrival so we’re in a lane at the far side and again on return my car was not in the disabled parking. Not what I was expecting as usually it’s next to the door!”
“Booked Terminal parking in advance, for a 3-day stay. Parking was OK, but when I came to exit (slightly earlier than my booked time, i.e. I hadn't over-stayed) the machine wouldn't accept the ticket I had been issued and wanted to charge me £70 to exit! Took a few minutes for the operator to accept my explanation and let me out.”
“The parking price is usually good, the location is great, staff are lovely but this is all negated by the delay in getting out of the car park due to a ‘“system glitch”. For the 3rd time I have had to wait for assistance when trying to leave as the system has not recognised I have pre paid and stops me from leaving stating there is an outstanding balance charged at the full day rate.. After a long day travelling the convenience is immediately removed as I watch my friends scoot off in a taxi while I spend 30 minutes sorting out the fee before I can exit. Not good enough!”
“The Edinburgh fast park was excellent and the staff were wonderful. However, on the way out I took a wrong turn at the roundabout and ended up having to go back through. The staff at the Drop Off tried to charge me to get out and insisted I needed to pay despite having not used the drop off. Absolutely woeful”
“1st time using fast park. check in was straight forward and fast but we landed at 01:20am and didn't make it too the key collection locker until 02:13 i had only booked until 2am. ADDITION CHARGE FOR 13 MIN £25 absolutely disgusting! So unfortunately I dont think I'd use this service again... can you imagine the charge if your flight was a few hours late luckily we had £25 don't know what you would do if you just didn't have the money? I think its absolutely ridiculous and there was no need for it, its just pure greed for more money.”
“Disgusted we got a £25 charge for a delayed flight something totally out of our control, then when we placed the ticket in the barrier it requested a further £7 to exit what a disgrace will never use this fast track method again!!”
“The signage for the different car parks isn’t clear when arriving at the airport.
I ended up paying £25 -which feels like an extortionate cost- for less than an hour of parking, mainly because there seemed to be no other options available.
I did notice a sign in the car park for 1-hour parking, but this wasn’t mentioned on the website. If it is there and I overlooked it, then it must not be very visible, as I spent quite a bit of time trying to find an alternative before paying online.”
“Excellent on arriving. Not happy on departure. Cudnt find vehicle due to tag instructions not bin clear writing so where but stressed at was through the night and just had to walk around looking while trying to light car lights up with key”
“Car drop off went smoothly enough. Arrived back a week later and went to the security boxes to recover my keys. The ticket did not work, an attendant arrived and checked the ticket - the car was still in the parking area so we had to wait until it was deliverd back to the pick up area. I got my keys with another ticket attached, the original was retained by staff. Used the ticket at the first barrier but it would not work. A message on the barrier told me to turn my ticket over - did this 4 times, still did not work, but the barrier automatically printed another ticket which let me out. Arrived at the final barrier and inserted the new ticket, the barrier did not lift, instead a message was displayed saying I owed a £7 charge even though I was still within my allotted time. Spoke to a member of staff through the barrier intercom, and he then let me out. I also found on the way home that the car radio station had been changed, I only ever listen to one station and had some difficulty finding it when on the move, as it can only be changed on the Centre Display Screen. Why would this be changed by someone parking the car ? Not good enough I'm afraid.”
