“Booking process was simple, booked and paid beforehand. Arrived found a space, parked up and went on our way to wait at the bus stop for the shuttle which came within minutes. On our return journey we waited around 10 minutes at the plane parking bus stop to take us back to the car. Bus driver was lovely and accommodating. On exiting, when I inserted my card it said I owed £120😬 I pressed the intercom and the guy took my registration and lifted the barrier for me - small inconvenience but otherwise a great service.”
“Getting in and out was easy enough, finding a space was not. I would park here again but leave plenty of time to find a space.
It’s so handy walking from the car park to the airport.
It would have been better if there were staff around to direct to free spaces instead of blindly driving around looking for one.”
“Arrived at long stay car park found a space quite a way from the airport went to bus stops to
Find sign saying no buses available to take us to terminal .. this was advertised as a service available?”
“We parked in the mid-stay car park which is conveniently located just yards from a covered walk- way that leads directly into the terminal building - perfect when raining.”
“Excellent facility, quick and no hassle. Drive through the entrance, then directed to your space, drop the car, go to the reception, scan your barcode, collect your ticket, pop the tag on your keys and drop them off. Then fly! Its right next to the departure desks.
On return, scan your ticket, open the flashing locker, get your keys, and note where you car is.........then home.”
“Decent price, easy to find and car in the condition I left it.
Minor problem on leaving was the machine would not accept my ticket, but on trying a different machine, the barrier raised automatically, possibly using number plate recognition, so no great worries there.
My only complaint is that there is no guarantee that disabled drivers (such as myself) could access a disabled bay. Perhaps they could be allocated at the time of booking. In addition, the contact system is very frustrating and really needs access to a human being.
I was fortunate enough to find a space close to the bus stop, but it might have been very different.”
