We have used Fastpark in the past and have always found it to be really good, parking in the Multi-storey and then using the direct bridge leading to security. The new system is nowhere near as good. The signage is confusing and there is a lack of it both on signposts and on the ground. Last week I ended missing the turn off and had to go through the drop off section of the car park costing me £4 for nothing. Whereas with the old system you were sheltered from the weather this is not the case with the new one. When it is raining you will get soaked walking from/to your car to/from the terminal building. There is a lack of signage in the terminal building directing you back to the Fastpark and instead of a clear notice directing you to the front of the building we exited at the tram side which meant a longer walk. One thing that was good was the helpfulness of the staff on duty both at the time of arrival and when the car was picked up on return from holiday.

The discontinuation of the bus link to the airport represents a huge reduction in the quality of service offered especially for the elderly and people with mobility issues.

Leaving from Edinburgh was a great service but our return was a shambles. As our car was not waiting for us wee had a long time to wait for its return due to staff shortages.

Arrived at the airport on time for my flight but had to circle the car park several times before finding a space. The spaces are extremely tight and very hard to open both driver and passenger doors. Also difficult to remove luggage from the boot due to lack of space.

We have used fast park a couple of times and never had any issues. This time, we came back to our car to find the back window had been rolled down with the kids sun screen cover still on it. This was now jammed in the window and was broken beyond repair. I had to try and dislodge it and part of the sun cover is now stuck in the bottom of the window as when it has been rolled down it has been impossible for the rubber part to come back up due to the size of it. This will now cost me a significant amount of money for someone to take the window out of the car to retrieve the piece that is stuck. Not to mention I will also have to buy a new sun cover. I am extremely disappointed as it was clear no time or thought went into parking the car and there was no respect for our belongings. I feel Edinburgh Airport should be paying for these damages.

Parking at the airport was easy to access and very convenient to park in the multi storey with short walk to terminal. However the cost of £185 for a 12 day trip was expensive, and on reflection negates the saving in saving on air fares on flying out of Edinburgh compared to our home airport of Aberdeen

Not a good show when you arrive back to get your car only to find it takes forty mins to get it as it’s in a compound somewhere and hasn’t been brought back to where you left it, And when leaving when eventually the car park machine wants you to pay for parking your car

My disappointment with my parking experience started on arrival, I had chosen this facility because of my disability I struggle to walk more than 15 yards at a time and chose this facility’s because of its proximity to the airport and the assistance office. On arrival ( in a rainstorm) we were directed to park at the rear of bay 6. I drew the attendants attention to my disabled badge but apparently that went for nothing! I ended up soaked to the skin by the time I got inside . Which caused later problems as my wet trousers and underwear upset the security scanner and resulted in a manual search. Having gone through all that I hoped that as I I had re-indicated on the computer form my disabled status, on our return we were directed to bay A32 which was even further away from the key pick up . I would point out that my partner does not drive, therefore I once again had to trudge the length of the car park to collect my car, this is uphill and I had been travelling for a considerable time I was totally exhausted and frustrated. I hope that this review will lead your company to consider how it deals with disabled customers in the future.

This is in respect of the Fast Park facility.I usually use the mulit story car park, saw the video for the Fast Park and decided to try it.The video explaining the facility and reality are very different.Firstly the moving cameras taking pictures of the car are static, secondly you do not necessarily park close to the reception area so no protection from the elements which is the same leaving the reception. When we returned it was raining heavily and the car was parked approx 100 meters from the reception up a slight gradient so well & truly soaked by the time we reach the car.Multi story from now on.I must say the staff were very helpful

A busy car park and clearly some customers don’t have the patience to find a spot and park on corners to the inconvenience of others. The walk back to my car, through unavoidable puddles and mud should be improved. Maybe I picked a bad time but will probably look at alternatives next trip.

Tried to charge me £130 despite pre-paying and then had to argue it was prepaid as entry cameras didn’t pickup car reg apart from that parking and fast track great

very expensive (compared to Newcastle at least) very difficult to find a place - had to drive around several times and stalk people leaving had to contact assistance at barrier when it didn't recognise me as pre-paid - this was quickly resolved by assitance person despite it being 2.00 - but the shock of being asked for £270 at 2.00 in addition to the c.£160 already paid was not great....

Whilst the parking space was adequate the walk to and from the airport was not so good. From where we had to park the car and walk to airport there appears to be no clearly defined pedestrian walkways there is some but they are not clear and are broken and rough not ideal for pulling a suitcase. Also on return I noticed cars abandoned not in parking bays on pavements parked on double yellow lines that forces you to walk on the road to get around them. Is the parking authority issuing more parking than spaces available thus forcing people to park as mentioned or are lazy drivers doing this knowing there will be no reprucucions either way this needs to be addressed. For the amount of money charged for this parking space for a week it is very overpriced

There was no spaces when I arrived at the time I had stated when I booked. I had to abandon the car next to a kerb when I got there and hope for the best, I wasn't the only one who had to do this. Luckily when I came back my car was still there. Finding the car park itself was easy and no problems getting through the barriers.

I was charged an additional £40.00 for parking after my flight was delayed 9 hours. I thought there might be an additional charge although I did register my flight numbers so also thought your system would know about the flight delay....but £40.00!! I prefer to use the long stay parking than taxi back and forward from the airport. Having just paid £100 total for 4 days parking I think I'll be using taxi's again.

As long as you are able to return on the expected date the parking is fine. However, we had to delay the return due to a medical problem delaying travel. It seems it’s impossible to extend an existing booking once you have started it. The online information is not helpful (at least when trying to read on an iPad) and it seemed impossible to speak to anyone at the weekend. So on the return we just had to suck up the outrageous excess charges (£125 for less than 2 days extra). Frankly in these days when it cannot be that unusual for people to have to delay return and need to extend parking times, it’s outrageous charges like that that really annoy me.
