“It's an economical and convenient car park, really quite close and with a regular bus service. Two minor niggles: 1. For no reason that I can see, the covered walkway from the terminal stops 30 m short of the bus stop, so we got a brief but comprehensive soaking the other week. 2. The car park surface is compacted rubble and very unfriendly to luggage wheels. Almost like we are being punished for not shelling out more.”
“Nothing to not like about this operation. Easy to find, busses run regularly and on time, only minutes to the terminal and minutes to walk into terminal mostly under cover. Also, parking spaces are a good size - length and width.”
“Easy to find carpark following the signs. Bus stop shelters easy to see and didn't have to wait long for the bus. The only thing that I think could be improved slightly is signage for the different areas of the carpark to make it easier to locate your vehicle when coming back after being on holiday.”
“Due to cancelled flights I had to extend the parking period. First time was straightforward, second time less so. It isn't easy to work out how to contact FastPark from earlier emails or your website. Later, on collecting the car, I was stuck at a barrier (having already paid the extra fee) and had to take a ticket to exit (first barrier). At the second exit barrier, as it didn't lift automatically, it seemed natural to put the ticket in, assuming this was to gain exit. Instead, the machine indicated a further £7 fee was due. I paid this by card, seeing no easy way round this. I've since contacted FastPark by email to request a refund but I've yet to receive a reply. So, in short, it might help to make it clearer to customers how to exit the carpark. I should say that entering the carpark and depositing keys etc is always straightforward with helpful staff on hand.”
“When we reached the exit barrier and inserted our ticket, we are asked for £360 for our stay as the camera is not recognising our car. We have to phone through as provide our details and wait for the staff member to identify our booking and open the barrier for us. This happened to us last time and the time before. In every case we have been inside our booking timescales at the multi-storey car park.”
“Having looked at the cost of getting a taxi both ways, a months airport parking was competitive and more convenient.
Although the car scan and key drop off video looked intimidating, in practice, it was simple. Plus there was a member of staff around if assistance was needed.”
