“On arriving back from Tenerife went to the key pick up point and when scanned the bar code, it came up on screen to say 'keys not available for pick up'.
When we found a member of staff, he was very unhelpful and very uninterested. There were various other families with the same situation. He then proceeded to accuse us of keying incorrect flight details at the time we dropped of the keys which was completely uncorrected. We then had to wait for someone to go and collect our car before we were able to get home. Not once did we get an apology. Completely unsatisfactory service and certainly not 'Fast Park!'”
“Booked a eleven day car parking with Planeparking.
Absolutely no directional signage when coming out of the main terminal.It took us approximately one hour to find the correct bus stop.Speaking to another couple who were at an almost breaking point.
This was a disastrous return at 3am in pouring rain.
Once you find the proper Planeparking bus stop the service is good.

“Used the Fast Park service and dropping my car off was quick and straightforward. However on my return 8 days later (at 03:30 on a Sunday morning) the vehicle was not ready for collection. Apparently the vehicles are moved and stored a couple of miles away from the Fast Park facility and on arrival it took a further 2 hours for the car to be retrieved. My family were cold and tired after a long flight and we had to sit in the Fast Park reception for 2 hours until the vehicle was returned at 05:30. Lots of families from my flight and the previous flight were in a similar situation. The supervisor did what he could and explained the issue was due to staff shortages and sickness.....it looked like they only had 2 staff members going back and forward collecting the vehicles at a rate of 1 car every 15 minutes Then to cap it all off, I had trouble exiting the car park as the cameras weren't recognising my car registration. Not sure that I'll be using the service again”
“Do not go near this company.I was booked into their meet and greet parking which instructed me to phone them 20 minutes before I arrived.When I tried repeatedly no one answered.Eventually I made contact with someone who told me they had ceased their operations at Edinburgh.This left me to find alternative parking 21/2 hours before my flight took off.The only option left to me was to use the long term car park which cost nearly £200 for 8 days.My requests for compensation have been ignored.Please everyone vote with your feet and dont go near them.Online information suggests they are running scams at various uk airports”
“Service sounds good but doesn’t work! We arrived back and our car wasn’t even there. Was told a 20 min wait, member of staff dealing with us was terrible. So many others waiting yet flights landing an hour after ours was getting their keys when they arrived! Dropping off was easy but return collection just didn’t work!”
“If the were minus stars, I would have awarded a minus. I have booked and used Edinburgh airport parking for decades. ways the long stay car park, however, since my Holiday in May this year and no shuttle buses operating and such a long walk with heavy cases, this trip I decided to book the terminal car par. Now the long stay car park is a bit hit and miss with regards to available spaces, but once driven around you usually find a space. However on this trip and the terminal car park was a different story. Turned up over two hours before flight. Drove around the bigger terminal car park numerous times with no spaces. Car were parked on shevrons etc. I then went to the smaller terminal car park and again absolutely no spaces. Drivers were becoming irate as was I. Paying in advance for a product that wasn't available. Looked on line for contact numbers re Edinburgh Airport to speak to someone for advise, but all numbers were uncontactable. Stressing and worrying about missing my flight ( and losing the money I had paid) I eventually parked my vehicle out with a parking spaces. Absolutely fuming. NOT good enough Edinburgh Airport. Don't accept hard earned money if you can't provide a service. Oh and to top it off, on exiting the terminal car park, the barrier wouldn't lift saying I owed 165 pounds..,.I had to press the buzzer and have them rectify the mistake.”

“I’ve been using the multi-storey facility at Edinburgh Airport for sometime, it’s convenient easy to use and reasonably priced.
However last weekend I had a flight delayed which meant I was 18 hours over my exit time.
I tried to extend my parking period online when I became aware of my situation, but failed due to internet issues.
When I did eventually get back to my car I was charged £65 extra to exit the car park. That’s about £3.60 an hour.
If this policy to exploit regular customers in this way is normal, then I’ll be making alternative arrangements in future. This is an airport parking facility surely delays and time changes are not unusual.
I have two upcoming bookings in the next couple of weeks which I will use, but after that I think I’ll be using an alternative airport.”
“On arrival it wouldn’t allow me to scan barcode. Staff member done it manually. On return my car wasn’t ready as it was booked in system that I wasn’t returning until 9:30pm that evening 16/10/22. I arrived at 01:15am. So I had to wait fir over 30 minutes fir my car to arrive. Then I had to pay £4 to exit the car park. This is my first time using the fast park and it will be my last.”
“Car Park was overbooked and many cars looking for spaces, I almost missed my flight due to this as it took me 30 minutes to find a space and was very lucky to eventually get parked.
Just another disaster at Edinburgh Airport, do not know what is going on at the Capital of Scotland airport from car parking and security to coming back into the country with the passport control walk that the staff enjoys watching people walking up and down the isles like prisoners. Seems the whole airport is getting worse. Been coming through this airport many times per year but starting to hate coming through Edinburgh. The airport does not do Scotland any favors as sets a really bad image for tourists who pay good money to use this place.”
“We booked the fast park, which was easy and good to use when departing Edinburgh, but upon arrival back to Edinburgh (in the early hours) we had to wait 45minutes for our car to be collected. Last thing you want after a long day of travelling.”
“We had paid for fast track parking and when our flight landed at 2.00 am our keys were not ready. There was a staff shortage and we were one of around 20 people waiting for their cars. We had 3 children ( the youngest is 18 months old) and we had to wait over an hour on our car to be delivered. We were then charged another £4 to exit the main barrier of the airport. Will not be using this system again.”
“Arrived and the Photo Booth was not operational we were told to park in a long corridor of car which stretched to the back of the car park. It was raining and the walk to the terminal was longer than anticipated especially with suitcases and a small child in a buggy. On our return our keys were not available and we had to wait over 20min for the driver to bring our car back to us. We arrived at the airport at 1am and with a small child it was a disruption we did not want to endure as we had another 3 hour journey back to our home. We booked this type for the ease and it turned out the worst idea. We have parked at the multi-storey before and found it a much easier experience.”

“You probably think I am on holidays. No, I am not. My mother had surgery for malicious cancer and I had to stay 2 weeks longer to look after her. Then 2 weeks later the wound opened and she had another surgery last Tuesday. I had to stay again. My work company was extremely supportive, but parking wasn't. I just had to pay whatever you asked. And the amount was malicious. I am not sure if I am moving on the 1st of November as planned, I am not sure if I can move that car at all after so long time standing here.
