“Parked well in advance for multi storey. Pulled up was told I had no booking. Then after 5 minutes barrier went up and said they had found booking. Arrived back after holiday tried to exit was told I owed over £500 in unpaid parking. Pressed the buzzer and the guy toldme to try and be civilised and I had no booking. After 5 minutes then told me they had found it . No apologies just lifted the barrier.”
“Great service and worth paying a little bit more. We were travelling with our 9 month old and landed back at 2am, not having to wait for a bus and being able to just walk across the road to the car was a massive help.”
“Due to a flight change, we were unable to amend our booking beforehand. Instead were advised to pay both an early and late fee on each day. It would be better to have been able to amend and pay in advance. Another option was to cancel and rebook, but the rebook price was more than double.
On leaving it did not auto-recognise our plate and had to call for help. This was fixed very quickly though.”
“It took 30min to get a space. Just by luck I saw somone going to their car.
There should be more spaces avaialable if letting people book that car park.”
“Great facility to allow you to park right in the airport avoiding short bus journeys from other operators nearby, no need to worry about looking for your own space and good to be able to leave keys behind till you return.
On the negative side, while I understand the driver who parks the car may need to make an adjustment to the seating position it would have been nice to return it to a similar position to the one they found it in and I've no idea the distance they have to travel but was there really a need to have my heated seat and in car heater both on at maximum temperature during that time?
Maybe I should have clocked my mileage before exiting my car but as I dropped it off and picked up during daylight on a reasonably warm April I'm surprised someone was in need of that bit extra warmth. I couldn't help thinking of Ferris Bueller's Day Off when I sat back in my car.”
“Excellent all round service...gentleman that met us on arrival was superb....had a little bit of problem getting our key when we returned but all right in the end.”
“Had a return flight to Palma, one night in a hotel in Palma, three days car hire while there and three days parking at Edinburgh airport. Guess which was most expensive…… parking!”
“Multiple levels were cordoned off, so had to park at the top, the barrier on entry didnt seem to work, so though I had fasttrak included in my resevation, this was not stamped on my ticket. The office near the elevators is now closed, so there is no one to speak to in person anymore, which I dont think is great service. The Fastpark seems a better experience and better customer service. So a little disappointing this time in all honesty”
