“Arrived at parking to be told we were at the wrong area. Checked email/booking, we were correct. The booked parking was full and we were directed to other area. Customer service operator was very brusque”
“Everything was fine until I put my ticket in....I was asked to pay the £194 outstanding! When I pressed for assistance and explained I had prepaid my parking, the person didn't even speak, nor did they explain or apologise....just opened the barrier.”
“It’s expensive, and fast track is not quite so fast especially early in the morning. However you can book in advance and the multi story is near the terminal building.”
“Perfectly located - just a surprise when they tried to charge me over £300 for a weeks parking... and I’d already prepaid!!!! Not the first time that’s happened either. Maybe time to check the number plate recognition equipment!!!”
“Lighting is very poor with the yellow lights which in turn doesn’t let you check over your vehicle when you return.
Also markings are ooor when your trying to find your vehicle. Found staff not very friendly. Also stripped my key fob and found stuff lying on my floor. Poor show”
“Parking at Edinburgh is typically expensive with no loyalty program. Writing this review to get 10% saving is a litre disappointing. I would prefer loyalty since you cannot avoid using the parking”
“Parking facilities are great in principle and so is fast track.
Only annoying thing is that when I book my parking online, every time I get to the barrier it tells me that I haven’t booked. Think the Rev plate software could do with being updated.
Staff are always friendly and happy to rectify the problem
Also this review asks me to complete question about a parcel being delivered....... I think this survey needs looking at”
“Good points: it is safe, clean and convenient.
Bad points: relatively more expensive than other airports, signage to the multistorey carpark is very confusing and not clear at all. If you miss it you will have to drive through the drop-off area and pay a pound for nothing”
“It's convenient for the terminal, easy to access, use and exit. Although my recent experience was spoiled by a lack of information and staff when an emergency services exercise was taking place, giving no information on alternative routes to get there etc.”
“On return, the walk back from the gate to the car park is now ridiculously circuitous and time consuming. The car park and terminal are not at all joined up with the passenger in mind.”
“Quite a complicated entry / exit system. Also, pricing very variable depending on when you book - I just waited 2 days and am paying half the price. And I’m only writing a review to get a 10% discount!”
“Two things: one good, one bad.
Good: the fast track bridge and new security area really speeds things up. To be honest you could park and be at most gates within 5 minutes easily.
Bad: Most times I use this car park, it seems to forget my online booking (I'm a regular user and would say this happens 4 times out of 5). This time my ticket had the wrong reg number when it printed, so was clearly going to give me trouble on the way back - sure enough, had to ring for service and get it validated. Coming back late, it would be nice not to have to do that, given the premium price involved. Still the best way to park at EDI though.”
“Easy enough. Sign posting could be better - Signs for 'long stay' first take you to Premier and then NCP so it would be easy to end up in the wrong one.”
“Always book multi storey with fast track but rarely find a space on level2. Wet mud on surface of level 3 transferred onto our case then onto our carpet when we arrived home.
Surface needs a power wash.”
