Once again the blue badge parking lots were occupied by cars not displaying the badges in the multistory car park. I had to park on level 5 open in the rain, not safe for my disabilities. No effort is being made to ensure these bays are only used by persons who have been assessed to require these permits. The multi story car park is the nearest to the airport access and favoured by disabled persons despite the high costs.

Thank you for your review, Cars that are parked in the Blue Badge parking bays may have already been in contact with our car parking team to provide they have a blue badge however they may have had to take this with them on their travels. Long stay car park walk to terminal building is poorly signed and at least 10 minutes quick walking. There used to be a bus which really helped in poor weather, the walk is mostly uncovered,so pack a raincoat for your return journey. The car park is frequently over booked, so leave extra time to find a place to park. The exit route is poorly marked.

Thank you for your review, Our long stay shuttle bus was suspended in 2020 and the car park is an approximate 12 minute walk to the terminal. The long stay car park is marketed as a facility that does not have a shuttle bus and this is confirmed on our website and booking confirmations. I’m sorry to hear you found our wayfinding confusing. Clear signage is one of the most important things to have in any busy environment, but especially in an airport. Multi Storey booked as usual but were unable to find a Disabled Parking Space. 2nd Time this has happened in the last 6 months. I will be booking again for October. I hope to find a disabled parking space. My husband has dementia and mobility problems and this parking suits our needs but as OAP's I do struggle with a case/s and hand luggage and trying to support my husband as well.

Thank you for your review, Blue badge parking bays are on a first come first served basis. If you require special assistance for future travels this can be booked directly via your airline. The Multi-storey car park also has assistance call points which you can use if you have special assistance booked. Kind regards, Customer Support Team

My experience of the airport going was poor. We booked Special Assistance for my friend Nobody was available to help us. We were given a wheelchair shown where to go and my son had to push my friend . When we arrived at departure we were forgotten last minute someone came to help us. We were given better assistance in italy where we were travelling too. On return it was better it must have been flagged from the Italy side we had booked special Assistance so were looked after.

I parked my car there. Car was still there when I got back = win. Pretty expensive though at £17.50 per day.

Fast park was great apart from when collecting my car at 2am the girl covering decided this was the perfect time to abandon her post :) screen clearly stated to scan the key barcode for the position of the car but this didn’t work and flagged an error - really simple to fix if she hadn’t disappeared

On leaving the car park and putting my ticket in the machine I was asked for a further £360! This is the second time this year that this has happened to me. I had to again press the buzzer and speak to someone to be allowed out the car park. This caused us a small amount of distress after an already long days travel.

The parking is fine and quite close to the airport but it is a 15 minute walk to the airport carrying or dragging your bags as there is no shuttle bus. The signage is quite poor and its easy to get lost. Reasonable price,

Directions easy to follow. Pick up great. Was concerned on return when told I had £180 to pay. Am a solo traveller so got a shock. Was worried I had parked in wrong site.

All good except for exiting the car park ticket machine kept showing the message turn ticket over no matter which way it was put in. Talked to operator who said turn your ticket over eventually he overrode the system and lifted the barrier.

Drop off was fine and depositing the keys was easy as was collecting them but when i went looking for my car it couldnt have been further away, it was parked at the very far end of the car park and with two heavy bags it wasn't ideal considering what i paid.

Lack of trolley parking in Fast park area after loading the car after returning meant a walk all the way back to the reception area in part losing the speed efficiency.

No disabled spaces available as you can't book them ended up in the overflow car park which was quite a hoof to the terminal as won't park in multi storey

I merely refer you to my previous comments of 18.09.2023 and your response of 24.09.2023 about ‘wayfinding’ into and through terminal parking to the multi-storey car park and your assurance that issues of wayfinding were of the utmost importance and would be actively considered. Nine months on and little seems to have changed!

Car park was well signposted from within the airport location and easy to find a parking spot. Not many bus stops in the car park, however. Everything was fine until the bus on the return journey from the terminal to the car park. It was a regular type of bus with no facilities to store suitcases so we had to cling on to our cases as they were, understandably, moving about on the journey back to the parking. It was potentially quite a dangerous situation really as the suitcases were heavy and there was little to hold on to whilst simultaneously containing the luggage. On exiting the car park, we were presented with a ‘bill’ of £300 despite pre-paying in full. It was sorted promptly via the intercom on the barrier but seemed like a needless step.

Parking facilities were clean and safe however there were a lot of people parked outside marked bays so clearly more people allowed to book/enter than spaces available. Disappointing when paying £59.99 for a week of parking which is a lot higher than on pevious trips. I will consider using an off site parking company in future or would use public transport.

Great drop off but on return it was a chaos. When we got our key, the ticket wasn't clear. It said block k and then hand written bottom was C38. We walked for ages over to block K. Then had to find someone who said it's the hard written one. We were frozen. Need to make it clear.

Everything went fine till barrier wouldn’t open on return journey home.It said we were due to pay an extra £180. We were within our booking time and had to speak on intercom to get barrier lifted. No apology or reason why this happened.

When this occurs, it means our system doesn't match you to your booking and you are then charged the roll-up rate in error upon exit. I was a bit shocked when Input my card into barrier machine when I was about to exit to be informed I owed £180. Pressed alert button and told one of your operatives who let me through. This is not the first time this has happened and wondered what went wrong as i was well within my time slot.
