“Very busy carpark & quite difficult to find a space on 31/12. Good proximity to airport but it was a challenge to get 3 suitcases & a wheelchair to terminal building especially when the trolleys were near the entrance & not close at all to where we ended up parking.”
“We opted for terminal parking for the first time rather than using a different car park and I would not recommend. Cue the same 6-10 cars driving round looking for non-existent spaces, whilst more queue to get in. After driving the whole car park twice and there being 0 spaces we opted to follow the lead of others and parked on a hatched area that was not a space.
There were several cars that had already made there own spaces (hatched area, on grass, blocking road at end of row) as the car park was blatantly over capacity. What was even the point of booking? Really not impressed and unsure what we would have done had we not found a 'space' after our 200 mile drive.”
“I thought I had written a review but apparently not. The provision of a transfer coach was unexpected but very welcome particularly as the driver on night duty 29 December was especially helpful. A number or letter name for each row of cars would be helpful. I was disorientated through the coach entering the opposite end of the park to the entrance but otherwise very pleased with the facility”
“I was impressed with customer service assisting with unexpected extended stay due to flight cancellations. Advice was clear, and implementation straightforward.
Parking at Edinburgh airport in the multi-storey carpark is expensive, if you pay the drive-up fees. I had booked online in advance to get the much lower day rate. All straightforward. However, repeated weather-related flight cancellations resulted in my stay exceeding my original booking and an extension (the online system only allows a single extension). I thus took out a separate online booking to cover the further delays, and emailed customer service, asking them to link the bookings, and avoid me reverting to the very high standard day rate. The reply was helpful, and the bookings were linked, and the high charges avoided.”
“Expensive but convinient. Every time I have used the pre-pay option I get to the exit barrier and have a full charge on my ticket I have to then use the call feature on the barrier to contact the operator to allow me to exit the car park with no additional charge. This is poor and I have not had this issue with any other airport car parking facility elsewhere in the world.”
“Parking at Edinburgh Airport could not be easier or hassle free. I parked in the "Terminal Refundable" and it was literally a couple of minutes to the check-in.
When I returned to my car it was straight forward, I drove toward the barrier and it went up.....all in all, really simple.
I will be definitely be usuing the Edinburgh Airport Parking again.”
