“Used Fastpark for first time at Edinburgh Airport. Used their Express online check in and was so easy. Arrived, parked car and left keys and off we went. When we arrived home scanned our receipt, got the keys which had a label detailing exact parking space. Picked up the car and off we went….all done within 5 minutes. Would definitely use this service again.”
“Waiting on a response to a direct message - return flight cancelled had to travel Glasgow to Edinburgh to get the car got to the airport around 12.40 waited 20 mins no bus walked all the way round to plane parking didn’t pass a bus another couple also walking to the airport - really not good enough especially given the distance to the car park fortunately the weather was dry but very cold and thankfully we did not have children in tow - checked the website said buses every 12 mins on one every 18 on the other but there was none”
“Everything was great apart from one thing which was the bus driver on our return back to the car park. He was driving the bus like it was a race car or that he stole it. Flying around the circles and around the roads with hard braking. Making ppl on the bus having to grip on really tight and trying to hold language from flying about also.
That was the only issue that driver needs to slow down. As some could have come of there seat and got injured.”
“The ticket did not allow me access to the multi story parking and as suggested I tried different barriers. All that did was hold up drivers behind at a busy time of the morning. Intercom guy confirmed my booking was correct and gave me a pass. Similar problem on leaving the multi storey although it was a quieter time”
“It was OK, we found the car park and the offices and worked out how to drop off the keys. It's very close to the terminal and in hindsight it would have been easier to drive on the morning of the flight rather than drop off the car, drag the suitcases to the hotel and then drag them back again in the morning. Getting out was harder, poor signage in the car park for the exit and having to work a barrier machine poorly signed to get out. Very helpful employyee worked the machine for us.”
“Met by very friendly attendant who guided us through procedure: which was very easy to do. We were delayed 4 hours, IT problems and weather. Got our keys quickly and were driving out of car part within 15 minutes of landing: that includes baggage reclaim and passport control. FastPark is excellent system.”
“Overall a disappointing experience. Easy entrance and staff available to help. On return car was badly parked and passenger could not access until car was pulled forward. Radio had been messed with and an obscure station was playing at high volume. On exit the second barrier did not open automatically so had to call for help to exit. Have used service previously and most of the negatives occured previously so issue not a one off.”
“Finding access to the multi storey car park was really difficult and stressful. Approaching in the dark but with a lot of traffic around it took 4 attempts to find the correct access. This included an entry to the drop of area were attendant on automatic gate was completely unhelpful.”
“I booked fast track which is normally excellent, on this occasion despite still being 2 hours in my return time I could not exit the car park, The operator said he would issue me a ticket and to call him when I reached the exit barrier which I did. I was then asked for a £7.00 which was incorrect and only after a heated exchange with one of your operators was I able to exit the car park.”
