“Used the Multistorey carpark, costs a little bit more, but when you can expect wind and rain in the winter months, who wants to stand around unloading and loading the car and to trudge across an open wind swept car park, when it can all be done under cover.
One tip. When you get back to Edinburgh, from the Arrivals area, follow the signs to the departure area and exit there so that you spend even less time exposed to the elements.”
“The process for booking on-line and the directions were very easy - the pick up by bus was very fast. The only issue we had was on our return. Whilst standing at the pick up point a Lothian bus approached. I assumed it was a Lothian bus and failed to see the A4 notice on the door that identified it as a Plane Parking bus as the door was open. The driver did not tell us either. As a suggestion it would be useful to put a notice on the front for those of us who are less observant than their wives”
“easy to book online. Terminal parking is very busy and can take time to find a space. The spaces are too tight for modern vehicles which may result in damage when families are getting in and out their cars.”
“We used FastPark for the first time since pre-COVID and it was very easy and stress free other than the fact our key wouldn't work when we went to pick the car up, which was strange as the car had been moved for us to collect. “My stay itself was OK. However, when I initially booked I made a mistake with dates and the website would not let me cancel this even though it says any payment is refundable on cancellation. This may have been a fault on the website but whatever the reason it is not good enough.”
