“Getting in, getting parked and dropping the key was fine.
Finding the quick park coming back was difficult it’s very badly signposted and when we eventually did find the key boxes, our key had the incorrect parking location on it which was fun at 01:30 with two children.
If it were better signposted and tagged properly it would have been perfect.”

“My main points are:
Signage showing the way to and from the terminal is virtually non-existent. Big problem if dark.
Signage showing the way to car exit poor.
Poor parking by some inconsiderate people blocking access roads.”

“Booked in the long stay - on arrival minimal spaces with multiple cars parked in double yellow/red lines. Appears this car park us overbooked .

“The booking of the carpark was misleading as the directions appear to take me to the long stay car park which I parked in and then had to pay an additional £20 to exit.”

All direction to Plane Parking can be found on your booking confirmation and on our website. There is also signage within the airport grounds directing you to Plane Parking.
If you book one car parking product and park in a different car park, you may be charged an additional exit fee. This is because the space you used was in a more expensive car park and had not been allocated for your booking. The full information can be found online in our Terms and Conditions:

“A long-stay car park but easily walkable with light bags. A supply of trollies would be an improvement as would the management of cars that park without thought to other's safety and access!”

I understand how frustrating it will have been to discover there were no trolleys available. Our trolleys are in constant rotation, which means once they have left an area, they must be collected by a member of staff, and processed back into their designated zones. This unfortunately takes time, and on this occasion has meant that the area you were in had no available trolleys.

“Having prebooked and prepaid at Plane Parking, we were staggered to be asked to pay £150 at the exit. Fortunately the help agent was able to override the demand when he eventually answered our call. Not good!”

“Long term now has no bus and no signs how to walk to the airport. Car park obviously oversold as cars were parked on roads, pavements etc. What a mess.”

Our long stay shuttle bus was suspended in 2020 and the car park is an approximate 12 minute walk to the terminal. The long stay car park is marketed as a facility that does not have a shuttle bus and this is confirmed on our website and booking confirmations.

“On arrival at the Long Stay car park, it was difficult to find a space, owing to the car park being full. We took what appeared to be one of the last two spaces left, on the opposite end of the car park to the terminal.
On departure from the car park, it became very clear that the car park was taking more bookings than they could handle; in the time we were away more cars had come in and began parking on the road (even on double-yellow lines) and partially blocking the road. With cars packed in like sardines, it was also difficult to get through to our space with our luggage. This was made even more challenging by the potholes in the road, which (being a rainy day) filled up with water. If you have luggage and the car park is full, you're forced to walk through the large puddles / potholes in the middle of the road.
All in all, it's clear that this car park isn't run with any foresight: neither for the weather nor for availability of spaces.”

“The fact that the parking price jumped from £7.99 to £19.99 / day made me decide not to use the long-stay car park any longer. There are plenty of better options available.
There are always cars parking on the curb, blocking roads, doesn't seem to be monitored at all. Apart from that, on the positive side, the car park is very easily accessible and only a short 10-15 min walk from the airport.”

“Long term car park. Sent a lot of time trying to find a parking space on arrival. When tried to leave a week later people had literally just abandon cars on the access lanes so had to keep trying different ways to get out of the car park. Needs more management/allocation of parking spaces and no if tickets being sold”

“Parking was easy but exit was a nightmare as it asked me to pay £480 when I had prepaid. It took some time to get through to someone to sort this. When I did get someone it was sorted fairly quickly but could have done without the hassle at 3.30am”

“Easy to get too with clear instructions. The only problem we had was the camera not taking our reg plate which caused a problem on leaving trying to chatge £180. Luckily there is a button on the machine for you to contact them and they then let us through”

“I pre-paid £40 for 4 days long stay parking. Everything was fine apart from when I put my ticket into the machine to leave it said I owed £130! I spoke to the man on the intercom who checked my car registration and then opened the barrier but no explanation or apology. Was it an IT glitch or a scam? I don’t know”
