Parking at Edinburgh Airport used to be easy and in the long term car park there was a bus that would drop you off at the door of the terminal. Now if you want to use the long term car park you need to walk to the terminal and it's a fair distance. On this occasion we used what was called plane parking, which is even further away, but the bus can take you to the terminal, although it no longer drops you off at the door. We prepaid for parking and on exit, the machine wanted an extra £100 for the 2 days we had parked there. we pressed the help button and the £100 got cancelled but we weren't the only ones to get caught with this problem and a queue formed at the exit as drivers had to contact the help centre. I now avoid Edinburgh Airport where possible and use Glasgow instead - it's much better than Edinburgh.
