Plane Parking is quite far from the terminal. The bus service eases that, but even then, other car park shuttle services drop off much closer to the terminal doors. The Plane Parking shuttle stops adjacent to the tram station. Biggest issue was with timing. On my return leg - from the point of arriving at the bus pick-up point to getting to my car - the whole process took over 20 minutes. This was in part because, even though the bus had arrived, we sat for 5 minutes waiting for more potential passengers. During peak times I could understand, but it was midnight, and quiet. I also don’t know why I was issued with a ticket - which I had to put in the machine on the way out - when I had prepaid? There’s NPRC cameras at entry and exit, so I expected the barriers to simply open and close. Obviously not the case. The operators have obviously tried to signify parking bays, but the actual parking spaces aren’t paved so it’s a guessing game really. I came back to find someone parked extraordinarily close to my car (possibly because they couldn’t see any lines). You get what you pay for I suppose!
