We parked in the mid-stay carpark which was easy to find using sat nav. It is also quite easy to walk to the airport from there. I recommend taking a photo of the large blue sign where you are parked. The car park is laid out OK. Everyone seems to park together so drive on a bit and you'll find a space.
Our big problem was arriving back at night and not being able to find the mid-stay carpark, we were stressed out wandering all over the grounds searching for it.
Better signs needed.
