“When we arrived it was easy and straightforward, no complaints. On the way home the car park was a mess! Cars were just abandoned everywhere! One car was even using the junction as a parking space which blocked the road! We couldn’t access some of the pathways and had to walk down the roads with our 2 year old. Cars not parked in spaces should be fined.”

“Simple process of arriving and departing and as stated within 10 minutes walk from the terminal. The car park was horribly overcrowded and people had abandoned their cars on double yellows and on corners. Took some time to find a parking space. Suggest booking and access to the car park is monitored to stop this sort of overcrowding.”

“Only negative is still not having the shuttle bus to the airport, especially when there are no spaces close by, so had a long walk over terrible roads with potholes and rough patches of tarmac, which damaged my case wheel.”

“This was the first time we used the long stay parking. Although finding the car park was easy, it wasn't so easy to figure out how to get to the terminal building. We actually followed an air hostess. On our return, we again found that the parking is not well signed for pedestrians and having been on a delayed flight home, this became very frustrating.”

“Expensive enough without being asked for £660.00 on exit when having pre booked. This has happened before so definitely a flaw in the system. A delay at exit for operator to rectify.
As taxi service at the airport now extremely poor taking car is our option. Edinburgh Airport is a disgrace to our capital city.”

“Fastpark works well, except that my return flight was diverted to Manchester. I emailed FastPark to inform them that I was going to be over 6 hours late in collecting my car from Edinburgh. No account was taken of this and I was charged an additional £4 for the late collection of my car.”

“Long stay car park was good value for money. It was clear that there were no courtesy buses to terminal, but the walk route could have been better signposted. There barrier corridor of sorts is contructed through car park spaces, which works, but only goes a short way into the Long stay car park. I found I was pulling a large suitcase between tightly parked cars, not good for me or their cars!”

“Chaos. There was a sign pointing that there are spaces to the left, I had to do a full loop of the car park before I found a space to the right of where the entrance is. Add to that the cars parked unsafely outwith spaces, on kerbs, on bends making it difficult to navigate round safely. No paths/ walk ways and poorly signed pedestrian exits”

“On arrival back from my holiday I scanned the code and box opened and there was no key inside. So I had to find someone. The chap went into the office and couple of minutes later a grumpy person came out and found my key in another box. Not a satisfactory outcome.”
