Don’t get me wrong the parking is 10/10 however the machines are so faulty it’s unbelievable, the last two times I’ve been they’ve tried to charge me an extra £160 and £320. The first time I ended up paying it but 2nd time I had to go back to the airport to discuss it thankfully the realised it was their mistake and allowed me to go through however I paid the £160 when I clearly didn’t need to

On leaving at the barrier there was a a request of £200 for parking . We had prepaid for parking. Pressed button for assistance and this was quickly resolved. Signage from the airport arrivals to car park was poor.

Thank you for your review. It sounds as though our automatic number plate recognition (ANPR) system hasn't registered you upon entry. When this occurs, it means our system doesn't match you to your booking and you are then charged the roll-up rate in error upon exit. This doesn't happen often but when it does, I understand the frustration that it causes. I'm glad you managed to get it sorted at the time. Kind regards, Customer Support Team

Use fast track parking. Overall was acceptable however when dropping car off you need to note which lane number as has to be input at reception (not mentioned on video). When picking up you need to exit 2 barriers. First is fine using number plate recognisation however got to 2nd which needs a ticket. Again not mentioned. Eventually realised it was the one attached to my keys however machine did not read and then fired out onto the road. Unable to exit vehicle to retrieve and had to push help button to exit. Meantime a queue had built up behind which was embarrassing and inconvenient for all.

Service was good and you leave your car close to the terminal. Another £19 parking charges on top of basic was a major negative given rescheduled outbound flight and delayed return flight were outwith my control.

Why is it, that on exit, the barrier never recognised the pre-paid number plate and tries to charge you full amount? A hassle you do t need after a long hot journey.

The automatic barrier/ticket system wasn't great, attendant had to let us through, next barrier, had to use intercom to allow barrier to open as we had no ticket, ..was good to be very near terrminal though.

Was all quite efficient (as it usually is) but on exiting the car park the machine said that we were outstanding £20? Contacted the operator who then let us out with no explanation. Our flight was delayed by an hour but sure that is accounted for in the original charge?

The pre-paid booking service is usually fine, but on leaving the car park this time I was met with a demand for over 200GBP. The attendant let me out after I complained, so easily resolved, but I could have done without this scare after a long flight.

Stop cars Parking on the walkways and parking where their is no spaces. bring back the buses It's a long walk if the weather is poor.

Thank you for your review. Our long stay shuttle bus was suspended in 2020. The car park is an approximate 12 minute walk to the terminal and we find it to be a manageable distance for most customers. Those who find the distance unmanageable can contact us directly to discuss how we can support them. The long stay car park is marketed as a facility that does not have a shuttle bus and this is confirmed on our website and booking confirmations. Kind regards, Customer Support Team

Unhappy because although I had prepaid, I was asked for £270 as I exited. This meant I had to spend ages persuading the assistance that I had in fact prepaid. I had already checked with staff that I had a ticket and surely I should have been let in without - they said to just use the ticket. All very stressful.

Love parking at the multi storey It is very convenient for us but we have had issue leaving last two time's wanting payment It was sorted out but have no idea why this happens It also not what to want after a late flight

Booking and paying for the parking is a breeze. However, I’ve had issues with successive parkings at Planepark within a week, both on exiting. The 2nd occasion, on June 24th, upon entering my ticket on exit, I was told I had to pay £150, after having pre-booked and payed online for £44. This was very frustrating.

Dire and shabby , but necessary . Walking route signage poor. Cars parked across exits for pedestrians. Flooded areas and potholes.

Due to a family crisis I had to extend my 5 day booking by less than 24 hours. I was charged an additional 50% of the original fee which is greedy to say the least. I will be looking for alternatives in the future 😞

Good: cheapest price I could find. Website easy to use. Bad: No spaces when we arrived. Cars parked on yellow lines. Eventually found somewhere to park although even that wasn’t an official bay. Barriers didn’t recognise my registration number so I had to use buzzer and speak to someone on exit.

The ANPR did not work plus the database of cars against registration plates is not up to date. The staff on the exit gate intercom were good.

Not that easy to find a space as it's been fairly full (terminal parking) on the 2 occasions used, and the spaces are too small for modern cars so big risk of vehicle damage. On both occasions prepaid online when booking, but when exiting the machine asked me for more than £250!! Buzzing for help got the barrier up without having to pay more. A family member was also previously asked for payment, so the system needs sorting!
